What is Daily Standup?
A Daily Standup is a short, time-boxed meeting, typically 15 minutes or less, where a team gathers to synchronize their activities for the day. Participants share what they accomplished yesterday, what they plan to do today, and whether any obstacles are preventing them from completing their tasks.
When to use it
Teams should use daily standups during active sprints or continuous delivery cycles to maintain alignment and momentum. It is specifically designed to solve the problem of information silos and late-stage discovery of blockers by forcing frequent, low-overhead communication.
