Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Planet Roadmap (“the Service”), operated by Planet Roadmap (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Planet Roadmap is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product management platform that enables teams to collect user feedback, manage feature requests, track projects with Kanban boards and other views, set and monitor OKRs, and publish public-facing product roadmaps. The Service is provided via web application and related APIs.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately at legal@planetroadmap.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by introducing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam) or to scrape data from other users' portals without their consent.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably determine that you have violated these terms.
5. Intellectual Property
Your content. You retain all ownership rights to the content you submit, upload, or display through the Service (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.
Our service. The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, trademarks, and logos, is owned by Planet Roadmap and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.
Feedback. If you provide suggestions, ideas, or other feedback about the Service, we may use that feedback without restriction or obligation to you.
6. Payment Terms
Planet Roadmap offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Starter, Pro, and Enterprise). Pricing details are available on our pricing page.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on the billing cycle you select. All fees are stated in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.
We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new pricing takes effect.
If your payment method fails, we will attempt to charge it again over the following days. If payment remains unsuccessful after 14 days, we may downgrade your account to the free tier. Your data will be preserved, but features limited to paid plans will become unavailable until payment is resolved.
7. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your paid subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will be downgraded to the free tier.
If you wish to delete your account and all associated data entirely, you may do so from your account settings or by contacting us at legal@planetroadmap.com. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. In the event of termination for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund of any prepaid fees.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Planet Roadmap and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $100 USD.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
